3. Donations

All donations made through the platform are voluntary and final, except as stated in our Refund Policy. We are not responsible for how campaign owners use the funds they receive.

4. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use the platform to:

  • Raise funds for illegal, fraudulent, or misleading purposes.
  • Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation.
  • Violate any intellectual property rights or post harmful content.

5. Campaign Responsibility

Campaign creators are solely responsible for the content of their campaigns and for the appropriate use of funds. GoFund LY does not guarantee the success or authenticity of any campaign.

6. Fees and Payments

GoFund LY may deduct platform and payment processing fees from donations. All transactions are securely processed via third-party providers like Stripe.

7. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate user accounts that violate these terms, engage in suspicious or fraudulent activity, or cause harm to the platform or other users.

8. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any losses or damages arising from your use of the platform. Use of the site is at your own risk.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site after updates means you accept the changes.

Refund & Return Policy

At GoFund LY, we are committed to transparency and trust in all our donation-related services. Due to the nature of our platform as a donation-based service, all contributions made through the site are considered non-refundable once processed, except in rare and specific circumstances outlined below.

Non-Refundable Donations

Donations made through GoFund LY are typically final and cannot be refunded, as they are transferred directly to the intended campaigns or beneficiaries.

Exceptions for Refunds

Refund requests may be considered in the following situations:

  • A technical error caused a duplicate donation (double charge).
  • A donation was made fraudulently or without the donor’s consent.
  • A campaign was found to be fraudulent or in violation of our terms.

All refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the transaction date.

How to Request a Refund

Please send your refund request to: support@gofund-ly.com

Include the following:

  • Transaction ID or proof of donation
  • Donor’s name and email
  • Reason for the refund request

Our team will review and respond within 3–5 business days.

Processing Time

If approved, refunds will be issued within 7 to 14 business days to the original payment method.

Additional Notes

We reserve the right to decline refund requests if the donation was properly processed and used as intended.
